I have my carbs off for rejetting right now, but before i put 'em back on i'd

like to clean them..

Can i just use carb or brake parts cleaner and spray them (inside and out)

or will that hurt them in some way?

Yep, what they said, but make sure you get every little circuit. Make sure it looks clean to the eye too because you dont' want to use compressed air and jam the dirt inside the circuits.

Lol. If you have any clogs in any of the jets, i usually take a needle and just poke it through to loosen the gunk up then blast some carb cleaner through. You want em to be spotless pretty much.

I found out the best thing to use to clean the jets is to take the twisty tie off of a loaf of bread or something and take the paper off and use the wire inside to clean them. It does a great job.
