canadabanshee Posted March 11, 2004 Report Posted March 11, 2004 Does anyone here have Tag bars. The CR type. If so how do you like them Quote
boonman Posted March 11, 2004 Report Posted March 11, 2004 I have TAG T2 CR-Lo bend bars. I have them on a 3" raised stem. I love them. Best damn thing for comfort I have done the the bike.... Quote
sredish Posted March 11, 2004 Report Posted March 11, 2004 Also have the Tag bars / CR Lo and they're great. The Tag grips are great also, very cushy. Quote
DUNEDEMON Posted March 11, 2004 Report Posted March 11, 2004 I got the T2's banshee bend on a Stock length lonestar anti-vibe stem, I had to machine an adapter to fit the tag bar clamp to the anti-vibe mount (Raised the bars about 1/2" works good for me I'm only 5'10") got the tag grips too.. Love the whole set up. Quote
bpreuss Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 i have Tag T2 CR-Hi Bends, i love em but i wish i had like a 2 inch riser. im only 5'10" but i like the bars higher, im not sure why? Quote
Otis Posted March 18, 2004 Report Posted March 18, 2004 Why the change to the CR style bars? you guys have pics? Quote
Cotton eyed Joe Posted March 18, 2004 Report Posted March 18, 2004 I have the Tag2 CR-Lo bend. I love the forward position I have to take with them, plus they are wider to give me a lil bit more control over this beyotch in the dunes. They have just enough give in them to soak up some of that engine vibe, plus out in the sand they didn't "shock" my arms as much as the steel stockers. I have to head to work, but I'll throw a picture up at lunch, or earlier if the laptop is at work. Quote
sredish Posted March 18, 2004 Report Posted March 18, 2004 Why the change to the CR style bars? you guys have pics? The stockers are too high and back. It's like riding gramma's Bruin. The CR bends have a much more aggressive feel and help you position yourself accordingly. Stockers Pullback - 4" Height - 6" Width - 30.5" CR Hi Pullback - 2.5" Height - 3.75" Width - 31.25" CR Lo Pullback - 2.25" Height - 3.5" Width - 31.75" That shows you the difference. Quote

efward Posted March 20, 2004 Report Posted March 20, 2004 I went to TAG's site and I can't find mention of a "Banshee Bend" in the T2 bars. It that just an alternate name for one of these bend styles? They've got: CR DOUBLE HI CR HI CR LO KTM KX RM HI SX HI SX TEAM YZ DOUBLE HI YZ MINI WORKS MINI HI MINI KTM 65 `02 I've been looking at the CR LO. I switched my stock bars out almost immediately after I got it and went with the Renthals. I have not been impressed. They are still bent way too far far back, and rotating them forward only puts the grips into an awkward "up" postition. Plus my front brake resevoir practically faces front. Anyone have any problems with the TAG bars with anything other than the TAG bar clamp? Do you need to use their "Universal Mounting Kit"? Quote
