xt45 Posted March 6, 2004 Report Posted March 6, 2004 for 1 gallon of gas, how many ounces of yamalube do you use Quote
shannonpurdy Posted March 6, 2004 Report Posted March 6, 2004 Depends on the ratio you are after! Why use Yamalube???? There are much better 2 stroke oils out there to make your shee happy! Quote
MotulMonsta Posted March 6, 2004 Report Posted March 6, 2004 well at a 32 :1 mix..32 g of gas to one gallon of oil or 8 gallons of gas to 1 quart of oil. divide that quart by eight..that's how much you need. Quote

PlaynSand Posted March 6, 2004 Report Posted March 6, 2004 xt45 for 32:1 ratio you would use 4oz. of oil for one gallon of gas. Simple formula: 1 gallon of gas = 128 ozs. at 32: 1 ratio 128 divide by 32 (ratio) = 4 If you are using a different amount of fuel simply add gallons together and change ratio number. Ex: 5 gallons of fuel at 40:1 ratio 128 X5 = 640 640 divided by 40 = 16 ozs. of oil Quote

I have always been told it was the lower end of a middle of the road oil. Kind of like buying a computer from a company that specializes in camaras. Quote

blk02banshee Posted March 6, 2004 Report Posted March 6, 2004 You got a quad from a company that specializes in piano's LMFAO ...so true. yamalube is good oil. I have put it through the test, and trust it. I have NEVER had a bearing or ring failure, and never fouled a plug. I've been using it for years in everything I have that's 2-stroke, and even when I freshen up a motor, everything like the crank, rods, bearings, and pistons look like new. It says a lot about an oil, when you take apart a 4 year old engine, and can still see tool marks in the pistons and crosshatch in the cylinders. Quote
