hey guys, i just bought another set of stock pegs off ebay so i can put mine back 2 inches and make them double wide but then i saw you can put blaster pegs to move it 2 inches back. what do you think will be better in the long run?

thanks

double up your stock ones , its easier because you dont have to cut your shifter or brake or buy a new blaster shifter or brake. Wait til tomorrow and look in the tips and tricks section for my homemade kickups

Raptor pegs will also move you back about 2 inches and they are wider then banshee or blaster pegs and will be easier on the feet if you do any jumping.

ive done the back and lower mod to a few guys shees and they werent happy with them, best results ive had was just doubling them up and making them look trick, everyone loves them. cant say i blame them, i finally got around to getting my set done about 6 months ago.

I on the other hand LOVE the blaster pegs over the stockers... I have long legs and I'm now more comfortable on my shee then before. I already had a -1 pro design shifter and I still have the stock brake lever. The only bitch is if your wearing sneakers when starting it and you take the kick lever too far... It can bite the toes on the pegs.

I would never go back to the stock pegs, but thats me....

Didn't know that, good info. :)

I have blaster pegs with the pegs parts of my old banshee pegs welded on the front.

That's what I'm thinking of doing,...but what about my Chrome pegs!?! :o

I love my -2" pegs too, didn't have any Blaster or Raptor pegs so we just cut new mounting plates out of 3/8" steel and welded the stock pegs on; we did have to shorten the shift and brake levers but it wasn't a big deal and I'm happy with the outcome. Raptor pegs might be an option to consider tho, I hadn't heard anything about those until Tim C mentioned it...

this is what i did. i just cut and welded a set on the back of mine. it works great. tons of room to stand on. i wouldnt trade them for anything.

im wondering if i should just weld another peg on the back or cut both pegs off, weld them together, and then weld them in the middle of the mount.

there prolly wouldnt be much of a diff huh?
