Toomey 2:1 Or Pro Design Foam Filter?

I have the pro design filter but I need to buy a new filter. The cost between a replacement pro design and the Toomey 2:1 kit is almost identical. Should I just get the Toomey 2:1 or stay with pro design set up? any thoughts?

I love my 2:1 and found a significant increas over the stock filter/ box setup. I have had no worries about water or mud either.

Although mine did come off once. I think because I over oiled the filter and it ran down and got into where it mounts. Too many bumps and boom!!! Came off.

I have the toomey 2:1 filter on my shee and im very happy with it. if you decide to go with the 2:1 filter you need to get a water bottle relocating bracket.

I WOULD STICK WITH THE PRO DESIGN IF YOU RIDE IN ANY WATER OR MUD

I have the toomey 2.1 and I like it. But its coming off and the airbox is going back on. I plan on running some XC races with my quad and I need the airbox in those muddy wet races.

 

My banshee still boggs really bad if I hit a puddle too fast. It boggs and bitches and moans for 50 yards,then clears it throat and takes off again. Iv allready hit a big puddle, got a wet and got the bog. Hopped off the quad, took off the seat and seen water all over the Outerwear. The filter foam was wet. So im taking my Toomey setup off and the airbox with a billet flange is going in its place. If it still boggs....

 

 

BTW I have a Toomey 2.1 for sale. Its got a K&N filter instead of a UNI foam. Trades ? Its worth about 30 bucks. Im keepin my UNI filtered Toomey.

erbilabuc, i got a pd filter , the outercover needs to be cleaned.. but the filter is in decent shape, i also have the pro flow intake for it ..pm me if u want it .

Make sure your plug wires are water proof before you go crazy and get rid of the 2:1 filter. They're the first things to get wet and cause a temp bog.
