if your drag racing witch it sounds like seince you posted in the dragg forum go with a cpi pipe

some one was telling me once that fmf fattys work really good in the 300 foot races but you have to like short shift or some weird word he used due to the power falling off the power band to fast............

yeh the gnarlys/fattys do kinda fall off quick so there is a lil need to short shift but my favorite pipes for draggin so far the rocket inframes. but definately dont rule out cpi's in the equasion.

do the fatties give you more top end then what was on stock and gives alot of mid

Just about any pipes will put out more bottom, mid, and top, compared to stock.

Matt Shearer makes some sweet drag pipes, both in / out frame. The guy that built my engine swears by them on his stroked T-Rex booze bikes.

I have a set of shearer in frames.I was just curious as to what other people think are the fastest accelerating pipes. So lets hear it people.I had a guy tell me stock pipes with aftermarket silencers were all you need.

That is a complete lie, I ran fmf silencers and stock pipes for about a year. The silencer did close to nothing for acceleration for the stock pipes. I have old school fmf pipes they have good acceleration if you start in 2nd. <_<

I run FMF Gold Series Fatties w/ Powercore2 silencers and love them. My interior motor is stock and I get a tremendous amount power through out the gears as long as you stay in the power band. No Bogging noticed.

There alot of factors out there that makes machines run different.
