mattmans1983 Posted February 20, 2004 Report Posted February 20, 2004 race tech sells a competition shock rebuild kit for do-it-yourself. It works great. You can buy a rebuild kit with everything you need and if needed a stiffer spring. Its so easy you wouldn't believe it. I've done several for other people. If you want to do it yourself then all you have to have to charge it is a special fitting for about $18 then take it down to your local welding shop and they'll charge it for free. Quote
MotulMonsta Posted February 26, 2004 Report Posted February 26, 2004 Who'd you get your shocks from? Who made em'? You should send them back to the place you bought them if your not going to any local guys. Custom Axis will rebuild any of the shocks they sell and they also provide a window to make changes in your damping rebound and spring rates. The local guy that I go to, I'll just have im change the oil and nitrogen. That's all you really need once it's dialed in. Quote
