  1. A 12-point port job from jim @ passionre, port your reed cages or get v-force2's. He has wicked all out porting. Or if you want really fast get his porting with a +4mm stroker kit. It'll rock your world.
  2. race tech sells a competition shock rebuild kit for do-it-yourself. It works great. You can buy a rebuild kit with everything you need and if needed a stiffer spring. Its so easy you wouldn't believe it. I've done several for other people. If you want to do it yourself then all you have to have to charge it is a special fitting for about $18 then take it down to your local welding shop and they'll charge it for free.
  3. Weld it no matter what. Port it while its apart. Around $50 crank weld from jim @ passionre. He does phenominal work. As soon as he gets the crank he'll have it done and shipped out the next day. Know 4- guys to get theirs done there.
  4. Check with Jim on this site as passionre on this site.Crank is around $50.
  5. Premix - Amsoil Series 2000 tranny - Amsoil Motorcycle 10w-40 engine oil Look at their charts
  6. I have a port logic kit for do-it-yourself I'd sell to ya.
  7. Check with passionre on this site. He has a wicked 12 point port. See what he has to say
  8. Not sure how many cc but I'm bored over ported and everything else except stroked and mine work fine. Do you have the dual or 2:1?
  9. DMC alien is the way to go man. You won't regret it. Wicked low end power. WICKED!!!!!!!!
  10. Amsoil @ 50:1 premix is perfect. Its a fully synthetic oil. I love this stuff. There is not possible harm in swithing to this. You use alot less oil with the same lubing capabilities then just drop your main jets one size because obviously you'll be running to rich then.Thats AMSOIL SERIES 2000 full sythetic oil
  11. AMSOIL makes some great tranny oil. I love it.
  12. I've had both and like the V-force much much better!!!!
  13. DMC DMC DMC DMC DMC DMC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. did you not listen to KenR74. Check the clip positions. And what makes you think they're toomey?
  15. DMC 916 alien with jets, vitos custom needles, and a uni-filter will give you everything you could imagine. This pipe sounds wicked. It sounds between an streetbike and an indy race car.
  16. I like the airscrews answer. Adjust them in 1/4 turn at a time and ride it between each adjustment.
  17. Just buy dual K&Ns then no matter how many mods you make you'll have enough air unless you go to bigger carbs but it sounds like your still a ways from there. The kit from RockyMountainAtv.com for $75 with outerwears and a coolant bottle relocator is perfect and then you remove all the clutter under the seat. The airbox and boots and everything pops right out. You'll love em.
  18. I agree with bigscary. Stock vs. stock the 450 wins by a long shot. I have a shee that has the usual pipe (DMC),filter,v-force, and a milled head. The 450 removed the airbox lid and jetted up 3 sizes and in a drag in the dirt I beat him by about 3 bike lengths depending on the length of the run on how much I beat him. On the street we raced from a rolling start side by side in 1st gear and off the line I jumped on him by about 2 bikes through 3rd gear, 4th and 5th he gained enough to be side by side with me and then he topped out before I hit 6th gear and then I just took off. Thats with stock gears on the shee. Those 450's are a hell of a machine. And we don't want to talk about the stock suspension and handling on them things compared to a shee.
  19. If ya want a little more power then just pull the gas tank, pull the head and cylinders, and for $100 buy the racelogic port template do-it-yourself and a set of new rings and port it. Then when your done, have cylinders honed ($35 ea. cylinder), put new rings on your pistons ($40), and then you'll have approximately $1290 left to spend on suspension. And if your close to needin a top end rebuild then spend $200 on vitos pistons and maybe another $15 for each cylinder to get bored. The porting is freakin wicked and if needed those pistons are freakin awesome too. In fifth it will pull a wheelie when you romp on it if your not sittin on the gas tank. I think you will like this setup.
  20. Series 2000 50:1 Great stuff. I also use their crankcase oil and I love it too.
  21. like everyone else says. Good low end pipe like dmc 2:1, jetting, and drop to a 13 front sprocket and it will kick.
  22. $160 in Mo.
  23. I've got pictures but not the equiptment to put them on here yet. As soon as I do I'll get them to ya. They look sweet and work great.
  24. DMC 2:1 pipes ($475), Uni clamp-on filter ($15), jet kit ($40), V-force reeds($220) stock gears for riding fast, and drop one tooth in the front ($10) for riding trails or short tracks. This combo is wicked yet inexpensive, and for riding the trails and short tracks the small front sprocket gives you double the throttle response. It makes it real peppy and i really like it. Stock gears with those V-force are really nice. My buddy has all the same mods as I do except v-force and when we wind them up on a straight away when he hits 6th topped out I keep going strong like nothing else. Its pretty wicked. All for a small price.
  25. Just one more idea. Take two pieces of solid round or a 1"x1" square by however long ( all one piece) and drill them and tap them and weld them on of course after cutting off the old ones. This will give you a real solid piece to bolt to and if you can weld real nice and a little buff wheel to it will make it look real nice. Just an idea.
