I ran a tusk clutch kit with ebc springs for a couple months now with no problems with fading or grabing. For the money, the tusk is hard to beat. $40 shipped to your door with everything included from rocky mountain.

Yeah but once again the tusk kits are not in stock.

I've been trying to get a tusk set for over 6 months now.

Anyone knows a place to get a kit?

besides rocky mountain.

Couldn't tell ya where to look, but I've never heard any complaints about them either. I figure if/when I burn up my Barnett, I'm going to try tusk out, may get 2 just for a spare since that'd still be less than the price of one dirt digger; hell, that's probably why their not in stock. :D

I just got the new rocky moutain catalog and I read that tusk parts are lifetime warranty ... on a clutch.. Sounds almost to good to be true. No wonder their out of stock.

Lol,

The lifetime warrenty must be on their alu- products

like the nerfbars and a-arm guards.

Haha lifetime warrenty on a clutch... now that would be awesome :headbang:

Its hard keeping up with the yfz450's

Kevlar will ruin the fingers on your clutch basket. Thats way hinson says to a-void useing kevlar clutch plates.

My Hinson basket had no type of warning in the box or anywhere on it. The kevlar plates would have nothing to do with the baskets fingers.

I believe it's the hinson pressure plate and inner hub that don't like kevlar.

I thought the kevlar wore out pressure plates faster. I didn't know the kevlar would even touch the basket fingers.
