Banshee revved up

So I was riding in my neighborhood and my banshee started sounding weird so I go back to the house as I’m pulling up/ slowing down the banshee just revved up high on its own, got it to turn off after scaring tf out of me then noticed my stinger pipe came off the silencer due to screws falling out and was hanging causing the stinger to come off the body pipe as well question is was that the reason why it did the death rev?…. Thanks in advance 🙏

I put the stinger back on the body pipe and to the silencer took it back out and was/ sounding ok just stuck between if it was a air leak or the exhaust falling off that caused it to rev up ???

usually happens when running out of fuel, or sticking slide or cable.

Did the slide get stuck cause the exhaust came off?

Sounds like it solved it's self?

Have to wait till it does it again, and see what it is.

I just rode it for about an hour and it did it twice out of the hour 😌

Prob. Cable or slides.

How are u killing it?

Once it's shut off   look at slides.

If stuck, see if its cable causing it, if not, its the slides/bore.

Slides have a hole in them so they will close easier. sometimes the retainer holding cable to slide can be covering the hole.

I’m putting it in first and popping the clutch while holding the brake

Good, then what ever is stuck, should still be stuck...to check
