the94shee Posted November 22, 2023 Report Share Posted November 22, 2023 (edited) Here’s a good one, my son overtightened the float bowl screws and stripped out the threads on one of each of the carbs where the float bowl screws go in. Factory Mikunis. He put it back together and didn’t realize what was wrong until he noticed they were leaking. Told me he wasn’t paying much attention and just hammered em with the impact… funny I’ve been telling him for years to do certain things by hand but hey, lesson learned. Needless to say he came to me for help, do I gotta get on marketplace and find another set or have people had good luck re-tapping these things and throwin some fresh hardware in? any help would be appreciated!
