375hp banshees Posted April 30, 2020 Report Posted April 30, 2020 I would think the only benefit is extra water/trash storage area though?? And at that point it probably doesn't matter ,you can't drain it anyway ,unless you're taking the plug off, and again it won't matter ?? Quote
2Smoker350 Posted May 1, 2020 Report Posted May 1, 2020 The hole in the drain plug is there so you don’t get drenched in fuel when rejet or have to remove the bowl. The cut out is there to help get all the fuel out of the bowl. 1 Quote
kawa110 Posted May 30, 2020 Author Report Posted May 30, 2020 ^^^ahhh very nice. They hole and slot do not line up and I did not want to over tighten the drain plug. Do I use the carb top adjuster from my Mikuni TORS eliminator carb tops? As the brass colored tops that came with carbs are way to loose on the cable and the rubber boot won’t slide over them. The cable adjusters that come with some of the Keihin 28 pwk’s are for the KX 100 throttle cable. As for a filter for the carbs. I use the Toomey 2:1 filter set up on my carbs. Quote
