Big Mike NY Posted March 27, 2020 Report Posted March 27, 2020 If I wanted to clean out my threads what size tap do I send I to the oem holes? Quote
hoppedupandcutdown Posted March 27, 2020 Report Posted March 27, 2020 10mm X 1.25 Be real careful, the rear ones are simply a square nut captured in a flimsy cage. If the tap sticks you can break the nut loose inside and be screwed. Quote
registered user Posted March 27, 2020 Report Posted March 27, 2020 put grease or antiseize on the tap Quote
Big Mike NY Posted March 27, 2020 Report Posted March 27, 2020 Thanks for the fast reply guys! I just did the same on my TRX 250R and it’s the same exact tap size, I used kerosine to eat away the years of loctite and used my snap on tap nice and slow and it worked flawlessly! Slow turns on the tap in out in out in out etc.. Here are my new TRX billet foot pegs. Looking for a similar pair for the banshee... 1 Quote
Big Mike NY Posted March 27, 2020 Report Posted March 27, 2020 While on this topic can you guys recommend who makes a nice billet set of pegs like the ones on my TRX? Quote
kawa110 Posted March 28, 2020 Report Posted March 28, 2020 Not billet, but roll design ims pegs with kickups are nice. Jds has some nice pegs. I think RSI used to make some billet but didn’t have the studs like thoseBut I’m sure there are others...Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote

Check out BDT racing for all your ATC and TRX needs. He makes the billet pegs you’re looking for. Quote
