I took my banshee out to pismo beach it started fine and idled first gear was good as I hit second and up it bogged unless I was in a sweet spot on the rpms once in that sweet spot if I let off than hit it again it bogged down again it won't climb any hills no matter how small and no matter what gear I'm in any idea what's wrong?

Nothing it came out of the shop running perfect I loaded it up 3 days later to go to pismo beach Although I had to transport it standing up to get to pismo and it took a very long time to start up once I got there

I'm a dumb hillbilly,  but standing it up is gonna drain all fuel from carbs, causing it to start hard.  Might check carbs out, make sure nothing worked it's way into jets.  It's free to do, and eliminates a possibility..

I agree with Skeeter, start by pulling the carbs and cleaning them.  What do the plugs look like?  Check compression and make sure you're not low on either cylinder.  Since you just pulled it out of storage, does it have good gas in it?

The plugs are soaked in gas every time it's hard to start my carbs were just rebuilt and cleaned when it runs it will smoke the tires it is a rocket but only one flat ground if I hit sand or a hill it's gutless

Sounds like a carb issue.  Maybe a stuck float from when it was standing up.  Pull the carbs and clean them and start there...  Pull the plugs and kick it over a few times to blow any excess fuel out of the crank area that might be trapped there.

Are we helping diagnose your banshee, or his 250r?  Idgaf what other bikes are or are not doing.  If you want to get YOUR bike running correctly, if it isnt already half melted down, then listen to the folks that have learned the hard way..

honestly the mod mods the closer you have to be on jetting,  stock 2 strokes are pretty choked up, so the elevation wouldn't effect it as much.   I would honestly pull both carbs off,  clean them good, through the pilots and everything, and see how it runs.  Then see if it runs better or worse with the choke on vs off, and it can help narrow down which way you need to go.
