So picked up a new banshee tonight. Have a feeling one of the rods is bent. Not sure if it’s just from looking at it from a bad angle or what. Anywaya40c985f011ee05a98749b3ed279b5cb.jpg1c54f887bb295c3c82f622f03b10ba80.jpg I can check to see if it’s bent or not??

Why do you think it's bent?

Anytime I look at it straight on, this would be left side sitting on quad, it seems shifted to the right at the top of the rod

Maybe just the pic but it looks like the crank is separating. Better get out the feeler gauges. I don't know about the rod, you could convince me either way.

Left side(on quad) .026
Right side .024

Little close but still got some life left before it hits 295

If your working the tolerances run it.
if your going to put some big power on it have it welded and bearings inspected

This motor would only be seeing stock cylinder, head, T5s, and vforce reeds. Nothing too special.

MFer looks tweaked to the right to me.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking. Hoping it was my ocd just trying to pick out something wrong haha. Looks like this crank is toast

Looks like it may have been hydro locked at some point.. definitely looks bent in the pic.. I check it out a little more before running it..jmo

How would I check it out other then looking at it?
