This is as close as I can get on the top mount near the handlebars.... wtf.
Am I missing some adapter bracket or something?
Bottom bolts are threaded-in but very loose, and all hoses connected.

Do I just drill a hole to line it up, insert bolt, and say VAFFANCULO!

I've installed three of the cheap eBay radiators and all lined up perfect with no problems. If that's as close as yours gets I would send it back.

I’ve installed 3 as well....

2 lined up perfect...

3rd was just like yours

I rat tail filed the holes to fit....I came to resolution the steering hoop was slightly bent.

Steering hoop bent was my guess. I've got a torch works and an Asi. Fitment was the exact same.

Steering hoop may be bent, but I don't see it using my eyeballs caliper...

Stock rad is perfectly straight and fit correctly.

Sending it back. Ordered replacement from another seller

I had a similar issue.

Put top bolt in first.

Then put side ones in and tighten down.

Tried every combination. Doesn't fit. I got the 1 in 100 duds. Almost an inch off center.

My luck

Ok, do this.

Put top bolt in first.

Next put 2 side bolts in loosely to the mount.

Then put the 2 bolts in the mount to the frame.

Once all 5 are in, tight top first then 2 side then mount to frame bolts.

Ok, that worked :)
Just hope my plastics line-up...
are those frame mount brackets self-aligning? Like some hidden tab I'm not seeing?
