doing a 4 mil

hey guys so I'm thinking of finally pulling the trigger and building my banshee. I'd do a 4 mil welded crank and been looking into top ends and seem to like the top end driveline performance offers

http://drivelineperformance.com/yamaha-banshee-421cc-big-bore-assassin-lp-cylinder-kit/

I think I'd go with that top end and a stealth or pro design cool head with the custom domes for the big bore pistons. so far my list includes this top end $800, crank and seals $450, a new clutch obviously $70, cool head and domes $150-$200 and a new top and bottom end gasket and seal kit $40 and possibly a new set of reeds $200. is there anything crutial that I'm missing? I dont care to upgrade the trans in any way but will it handle the power as I assume I will be close to doubling my hp with this set up. if the transmission is shifting okay now and theres no noises or issues is there a reason to upgrade anything on it or can I just do the crank and ride with it? are the stock carbs good on this set up for now till I feel like upgrading? never did a crank before and just trying to clear up if anything needs to be done when pulling the bottom end apart. with all this I'm at about 1700 in parts and would like to stay in that range if possible. my banshee currently has the basic mods: t5's uni filter with no lid jetting and +4 timing. it runs real well and is bone stock motor wise.. just looking to make lots more power and keep it reliable. thanks

I ran that setup with stock carbs and SLP pipes on pump gas AND with 35 pwks on race fuel.  If this is your play bike I would run those stock carbs and pump gas as it will save you a lot of money on fuel and you will have great MPG. Your low end power will be great.  If you are riding in the sand, like the dunes, some shifting Mods like a cut shift star will help, id say make sure all your shifting mechanisms are in spec (eccentric screw, shift arm with all its counterparts.)  The sand will put a lot more load on the motor and possibly make it harder to shift.  I did a pro mod and it helps a lot with that, but if your not sand riding id say just get the shift star.  A billet clutch basket is a good investment as well, driveline sells those as well.  While your in there make sure all water pump mechs are good too (bearing, seal) that should come with your bottom end gasket kit,  billet impellar isnt really needed but a billet water pump gear is a good idea.  so to recap

-billet basket

-shift star mod

-all shifting mechanisms parts are in good shape

-billet water pump gear

thank you, I dont ride sand unfortunately I live on the north east. lots of woods riding and hill climbs. rocky terrain mountains or grass fields are pretty much the bulk of my riding. yes it's a play bike and I plan on running pump gas with 21cc domes and I'd like to run the stock carbs. how necessary is the billit clutch basket? if it's important would I be able to hold off on it and do it in the future?

sleeper06 hes legit purchase with no problems hes selling the 4mil cranks

and no of course its not necessary, but when you making double HP almost a billet basket over cast will protect clutch/basket life.  and yes  pancake bearing as well is good.  and 21 cc domes on those cylinders will not put you in pump gas range you will need 23 cc domes, just order all that from driveline if thats the route your going, they will get you the head, domes and top end etc

I know if I get it welded it would hold up but my dream build was always a 421 stroker so if I were to do a whole tear down then I'd almost leave myself with no choice but to do a stroker crank lol. although it would be much much cheaper for me to just throw a welded crank in it and call it a day
