RagunCajun Posted November 4, 2016 Report Share Posted November 4, 2016 You only need a lockup if you can't stand arm pump with a hard clutch lever. Get some seat time and see for yourself. Lockups suck under wot shifting as if you are racing so I'd avoid it if possible. We've been over this. It seems you will keep asking until enough people tell you that you need a lockup. Stock carbs are fine. Port it now and save money! I always read the smaller the carb, the better throttle response.
