Bottlefed07 Posted June 4, 2016 Report Posted June 4, 2016 Hey guys I'm trying to rebuild my quad but I'm kinda confused on what Pistons to order somebody else had the motor built before I got it but buy what I know without measuring bore and stroke it's a 65.5mm bore and a 54mm stroke but it has a spacer under the cylinders so my thought is it would be a 58mm right but I'm not for sure Quote

On a stock stroke crank with barrels raised that much would significantly lower compression, and your port timing would be way off. Sent from my SM-S820L using Tapatalk Quote

trickedcarbine Posted June 5, 2016 Report Posted June 5, 2016 Umm, there is a lot of work goin there! I'd bet it is 7mm or more of stroke. That is a pretty large plate and those transfers have been welded. That's a pretty retro set up by today's standards, but I bet it runs like a raped ape on a fresh rebuild and decent tune up. Quote
