junkyarddog Posted April 29, 2016 Report Posted April 29, 2016 If you got a boysen port jig for stock cylinders you want to sell or build me, message me, just trying to avoid building another one Quote
junkyarddog Posted April 29, 2016 Author Report Posted April 29, 2016 Looking for a drill bit jig Quote
trickedcarbine Posted April 29, 2016 Report Posted April 29, 2016 (edited) For what tooling? I got a stash of adjustable fixtures in my old mans garage. If you had one before it shouldn't be much trouble to tool one up. Are you welding on the jug at all? The fixture only does a small portion of the work. Getting the thing open beyond the size of the drill bit is the time consuming part. Edited April 29, 2016 by trickedcarbine Quote
junkyarddog Posted April 29, 2016 Author Report Posted April 29, 2016 Want to sell any? And no welding Quote
junkyarddog Posted April 29, 2016 Author Report Posted April 29, 2016 I'm just looking for the hand jig that fits in the cylinder bolt holes and guides the drill bit Quote
junkyarddog Posted April 29, 2016 Author Report Posted April 29, 2016 Ya man I don't have a macinne shop and just looking to see if anyone has one I can just buy instead of the hassle of making another Quote
trickedcarbine Posted April 29, 2016 Report Posted April 29, 2016 You really made one before? Whip one up again. IMO, if some one is capable of making one that is worth a damn, they would need to make it with some kind of tooling. How did you do it before? Quote
junkyarddog Posted April 29, 2016 Author Report Posted April 29, 2016 Just made a jig off a set of ported cylinders that i don't have anymore Quote
tfaith08 Posted April 29, 2016 Report Posted April 29, 2016 Just made a jig off a set of ported cylinders that i don't have anymore Let's try this another way. What will be doing the drilling? The time it takes once you learn to do it freehand isn't that high. Quote
