For what tooling? I got a stash of adjustable fixtures in my old mans garage. If you had one before it shouldn't be much trouble to tool one up. Are you welding on the jug at all? The fixture only does a small portion of the work. Getting the thing open beyond the size of the drill bit is the time consuming part.

You really made one before? Whip one up again.

 

IMO, if some one is capable of making one that is worth a damn, they would need to make it with some kind of tooling. How did you do it before?

Just made a jig off a set of ported cylinders that i don't have anymore

Let's try this another way.  What will be doing the drilling?

 

The time it takes once you learn to do it freehand isn't that high.
