Banshee idles but with the idle screws turned all the way in

Hi I picked this supposedly rebuilt motor and got a frame powder coated and all the parts to restore it, I have it together now, it is bored 20 over t5 pipes 290 main jets 25 pilot jets and I'm on the 4th clip for the needle, i have tried new coil cdi, stator tested out good and it still barley runs, it goes bah bah bah bah like a rev limiter, idk what else to do, did a leak down test, water pressure test compression test and still can't figure it out, thanks for any input

Have you tried disconnecting the rev limiter?

Check TORS, Parking brake, etc.

The tors are eliminated and unplugged, there is no parking brake

actually never mind that, look to see if you have a green/yellow coming out of the CDI, if so cut and tape off.

are the pistons in the right direction?

w/ arrows pointing at the exhaust and windows facing intake.

 

And once a plug is gas fouled, use new.

Choke tube installed? Try and take a detailed video showing what it's doing and your carb set up. Upload to YouTube and post link here.

Unplug the parking brake and throttle switch from the tors. Throw new plugs in there n try it again
