creative pipe insulation ideas to protect pods

I have 4' of insulation tubing coming. I'm doing my whole stinger. I noticed on my old rear plastics it burned through it with my old CPI's so i want to prevent that.

I put that aluminum stick on heat tape on my plastics where they always burn.

Haven't had an issue yet

A tube with a slit down the middle sounds far more simpler though. If Ima cover 5"-7",ill do the whole thing. Simple = better. But I appreciate the tip. I'll do that if my tubing doesn't work.

I like the temp sleeve! I currently run cascade pillows but have done the wrap in past too.

 

Those temp sleeves look like the best option. awesome

I got it in today. The stuff is strait smurf blue on the out side. I'm glad it will be hidden. I'll post pictures this weekend when it's on. I have to do few other things whole I'm wrenching.

Yeah Ima keep the smurf for now. I gotta pinch pennys to get a brembo set up in the rear and I want a chariot 3 piece stator side cover too. I already for the bullet support from jds a couple months ago

Hold tight guys I may have a solution that is perfect for what we want and capable temp wise to 1800F.  Price will be competitive to.  Im going to check out first and see if it works.

I had some of these lying around. I cut the ends off and fit like a glove on my pipes.
