Banshee leaking from output shaft

Seal is brand new oil seems to be seeping from in between the collar and shaft. Is there an oring that goes on the shaft that the collar goes against?

Just a seal. What brand seal did you replace it with?

 

Takes some patience to get a new one in there with out any distortion. Use a little sheet metal screw to screw in to the old seal, and pull it with pliers. That keeps guys from prying it with a screw driver and marring the surfaces. Check that there aren't any nicks or burrs on the shaft before the next one goes in. Also, a little grease goes a long way.

Hot rods sell the seal and new collar for like $20 . This way you know the collar is not the issue

Ok should I bother replacing the seal it was part of the wiesco bottom end kit that I did 3 months ago maybe 6 hours of ride time on motor
