buddhabanshee Posted December 16, 2015 Report Posted December 16, 2015 I just bought this YZ kill switch and it didn't come with the clamp part. I tried using zip ties bit I can't get it nice and tight. Any ideas on what I could do? Or can I maybe get the clamp part somewhere? Thanks for any help! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk Quote

buddhabanshee Posted December 16, 2015 Author Report Posted December 16, 2015 If you got an old license plate layin around, you can make new tabs if ya want. just cut some strips, bend the ends, drill hole, mount switch. i used to break em all the time lmfao Right on, I might see if I can just make some. Let me know it you find them switches. If not, all good. I'll get something figured out! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk Quote

registered user Posted December 16, 2015 Report Posted December 16, 2015 Normally I'm against giving people a hard time but even without a ounce of mechanic aptitude wouldn't common sense kick in and guide the way. Used complete oem switch is $8 on ebay ffs Quote

Used complete oem switch is $8 on ebay ffsI bought it used off eBay for 6 bucks. I didn't realize it didn't have the metal pieces on it. Never been around these type of kill switches because I usually ride 4 stroke quads and have never messed with changing that shit because I don't race or anything. ClaudeMachining Posted December 16, 2015 Report Posted December 16, 2015 oh im with you 100% on running a tether.... i'd never bother unhooking the kill though and just adding the tether along with it. But I guess if you always leave the tether hooked to you even when you park the bike its not to bad... I just got annoyed real fast having to pull and reconnect it lol Never used it on snomow, will not use it on Shee for sure. Little yamaha kill switch ftw! ;-) Quote
ClaudeMachining Posted December 16, 2015 Report Posted December 16, 2015 hahaha once you chase your snowmow up a tree, across a lake or across the road while ditch banging it changes your attitude towards them. Or something like this?? lol Quote
