Green has made a lot of good points along with some others in this thread. Also you can just throw a normal set of shearers on your bike.

1 because it's not gonna perform good with your setup

2 the normal stinger tubes will not fit with a air box and you will have to have them custom made to fit.

Seems like your falling into the category of wanting more power. Fist thing first though especially for a trail bike, you need good suspension. You'll be able to ride faster with a good suspension setup. After suspension is done then you get the a bigger motor ( or both if you got a lot of coin to drop) remember a bigger motor with more power will drink more gas though so keep that in mind also

when i dynoed mine, i ran fmf vs shearer, both made the same peak power but fmf came on sooner and had more torque. the 2:1 wasn't able to give enough fuel for the higher rpms (even with a billet bowl)

This was with that mid 60's HP trail motor right?

If it dynoed at 61 hp then a good set of pipes could bring him to 65-70hp. I would have the motor ported too. However if he isn't going to tear it down for a while then some pipes could wake it up until he is ready to tear it down.

you got my attention. whats these good pipes that add 9hp ?
