Dookernobbin Posted October 16, 2015 Author Report Share Posted October 16, 2015 I talked to Dave (I think that's what his name is) at RaceTech about having him build me a full titanium frame and he said it would be close to 8k, I'm not spending 8k on a frame. The less I spend on a frame the more I have for the rest, this way I can spend 2-3k on shocks and 1500 on a arms and 2k on a swing arm. Dookernobbin Posted October 16, 2015 Author Report Share Posted October 16, 2015 38, From all the parts I was seeing a 2k titanium swing arm was the most expensive, not including the motor, I don't mind spending 20k-25k over a couple of years. Most of the quads at dunefest that looked pretty bad ass didn't have more than 10k. willaduncan Posted October 16, 2015 Report Share Posted October 16, 2015 (edited) I didn't say buy a drag frame if you re-read my post I said the stock suspension geometry on these aren't the best (that's for jumping incase you were curious) you don't need shocks for all drag builds some of them use struts.
