special06shee Posted September 29, 2015 Report Posted September 29, 2015 Those plugs look good and rich if ya ask me. Quote
Lowroll Posted September 29, 2015 Author Report Posted September 29, 2015 I started at 152 mains. I made a pull and the porcelain looked as white as new. So I jumped up to the 160 and made another pull to get this. Before I do another chop I think she needs some dyno time to see if it's living up to some similar 4mil builds Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk Quote
sheerider11 Posted September 29, 2015 Report Posted September 29, 2015 What all did you end up doing/replacing to get it right? Not saying my issue is the same or anything but just curious. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk New ported cylinders, new crank, new domes, and while I was in there got the Trans cut, new basket hub pressure plate and clutch. New reeds boots pipes. A whole lot. What ever he told me to get I got. 1 Quote
Lowroll Posted September 29, 2015 Author Report Posted September 29, 2015 Right on. It has new reeds, intakes, brand new crank and pistons and all that. It has a few Sunday Funday rides at a buddies house and has been to Busco twice as is. So I don't imagine much can be torn up or anything. I definitely think it needs domes and maybe some different gaskets Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk Quote

Lowroll Posted September 29, 2015 Author Report Posted September 29, 2015 Well shit. This might get expensive quick..... Again Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk Quote
Surfrjag Posted September 29, 2015 Report Posted September 29, 2015 You probobly just need some domes Quote
Lowroll Posted September 30, 2015 Author Report Posted September 30, 2015 Any recommendations surf? Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk Quote
Surfrjag Posted September 30, 2015 Report Posted September 30, 2015 Yeah I have specs or you can call dave noss Quote
Lowroll Posted September 30, 2015 Author Report Posted September 30, 2015 Either or, I can call noss if it's easier for him to set them up based on my specifics. Idk what's best. On the invoice he sent me the domes are listed as pump 23/13/115. What do those 3 values represent Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk Quote
trickedcarbine Posted September 30, 2015 Report Posted September 30, 2015 I think you have the following issues: -To much squish -Not enough compression with 23cc domes for 110 ( any idea what the exhaust duration is to confirm? Seems a bit off for a stock cyl with 66mm pistons.) -If you're drag racing, gearing could be changed a bit 1 Quote
Lowroll Posted September 30, 2015 Author Report Posted September 30, 2015 I am not sure of the duration on the exhaust. I did not ask him what those numbers were. I'll ask him, but not sure if he'll know or remember for my cylinders unless he just knows what the 4mil specs are for his MX port Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk Quote
sheerider11 Posted September 30, 2015 Report Posted September 30, 2015 It seems all he does is this fucking MX hardcore port. I know of 2 other people he's sold that to when they said 2 totally different riding styles Quote

I've seen his MX port. The exhaust isn't gonna be to radical in there. I will just say that numbers aren't adding up. With 66mm pistons in a stock cylinder that doesn't have to radical of an exhaust, there should be a bit more compression. But that could all lay in the loose squish. You're definitely not getting a good burn on the race fuel. Your jetting seems a bit fat for what your combo is compared to others, and I believe it's incomplete burn. I would definitely take the timing back to +4 degrees and try 93 fuel and see if you get a better response off the bottom. And I bet the main will look a bit richer then it does now. Quote
trickedcarbine Posted September 30, 2015 Report Posted September 30, 2015 We're talking 35mm PWK's right? 1 Quote
