Jason702v Posted August 2, 2015 Report Posted August 2, 2015 I'm sure it's been covered 1000x but is there any manifold that's way better than the rest? I have a 4 mill stock cyl with 34mm pjs. It's on gas and has 85 hp on the dyno. The rubber upp manifolds on it are cracked so I need new. Should I just replace the upp or get another? Thanks. Quote
locogato11283 Posted August 3, 2015 Report Posted August 3, 2015 I like the UPP ones, but it's really personal preference. Here are some: http://redlineracing.biz/shop/upp-manifolds-fit-33-35mm-carbs/ Quote
Jason702v Posted August 3, 2015 Author Report Posted August 3, 2015 Ya that's kinda what I've gathered. Thanks Quote
camatv Posted August 4, 2015 Report Posted August 4, 2015 upp will last about 3-5 years and then need replaced. but any billet style with rubber boot is about the same way. my personal fav is the trinity intake 2 piece, UPP, chariot. and there used to be a set with a center divider in it that worked well. a lot of them just have the wrong angle and/or the wrong placement of the boot to work worth a shit, OR they are the leakmaster internal boost bottle bla bla bla bull shit ones. Jason702v Posted August 4, 2015 Author Report Posted August 4, 2015 Thanks I can't find anything in the trinity 2 piece? They still available? Quote
Chariot Performance Posted August 5, 2015 Report Posted August 5, 2015 We have all of our intakes on ebay and you will be very happy with the quality and performance. Jerry Quote
Jason702v Posted September 13, 2015 Author Report Posted September 13, 2015 I bought the upp intakes locogato suggested from redline. The problem is mine had the crossover tube but the new ones don't. Is it necessary to run the tube? If so I guess I gotta return mine for some with the crossover tube version. Quote
trickedcarbine Posted September 13, 2015 Report Posted September 13, 2015 No need if they are synced well. Quote
