I ran a WSM 7mill crank for some time.  Never let me down.  I can't remember exactly how long, but it was 2ish yrs I think.  When my wifes bike needs a motor, (My backup bike.)  I'll probably end up going this route again.

When we build a high rise here in NYC, the foundations are generally on piles, thick heavily reinforced rebar, 6000psi concrete foundations to support 10-60 story high rise buildings. I look at the crank in an engine (any of my engines from my street car, 106m turbo Camaro to my 2 strokes. When I build my 10mil, Driveline top end, high compression I will spend the extra $ to make sure I can bullet proof the crank as best I could! I would never ever cut corners on the heart of the engine, the crank. That's my philosophy!
