I just installed this unit for a customer, nice unit only thing I see I didn't like was the insert is held in by epoxy , is it gonna go anywhere , no. I did have to tweak brake lever a lil

Was that guy running a stock clutch or lockout?

That epoxy is seriously strong shit and it makes a leak free seal. Those covers are very nice for the money. And he starts with a new oem cover so shit is clean and not worn out.

So rather than put that in your post you just imply that it just fell the fuck off, which it didn't.

 

I'd call and ask what to do from here. He's got some good facking epoxy to put those things on.

That's not how I meant it. I was searching epoxy and this post came up and they were talking about the epoxy they were using being "strong shit". All was was asking is what kind it was. It's not a mattoon cover.

Just an FYI for anyone running a modded cover. MAKE SURE your brake pedal and FOOT PEG has PLENTY of clearance away from cover. If it taps or vibrates against the cover at all, it can very well separate in short order.

Sounds like a no brainer,but it happens a lot if not careful.
