Yfzsandaddict
Do you have a picture of the leak? Leaking base gasket? There are no screws on a yfz cylinder just 4 head bolts and 2 studs. Don't put any sealer on it just put a new gasket. The only things that take sealer are the case halves

The only things that take sealer are the case halves http://www.ymotor.com/spa/item/resource/ART95598/image_(5).jpeg but the leak is right inbetween those two long bolts or studs in this pic. dead center, is this bad to run it like this? Yfzsandaddict
I wouldn't run it. Sounds like a head gasket but it shouldn't be oil unless there's another problem maybe coolant. Any smoke while it's running or coolant loss?

Any smoke while it's running or coolant loss? It takes a while to start. But I'm thinking that is a carb issue. Once it does start it will throw some smoke out of the exhaust(gytr) just a bit it does stop. The stuff coming out is a jet black liquid
Yfzsandaddict
Shouldn't have oil if it's above those bolts. Below them yes. That's would need a new base gasket
trickedcarbine
Definitely take that apart ASAP.
Burke
Probably needs valve guides, seats, and seals as well... definitely needs the valves adjusted
m671054
Not a yfz conversion. Discuss elsewhere.
