I've been researching the best tire for dirt with some good life as well. I've been running the mxr6 holeshots and the are about dead now, they lasted me about a year... What are yalls thoughts on the kenda klaws or knarleys? Pros and cons?

Kenda Klaws last I've found out but holeshots have better performance, Maxxis Razrs are the bomb tho, way better then any tire out there. The price sucks on them tho

How are they on hardpack for summer riding. Also any traction advantages by running a 22-23" tire over a 20?

No idea. Haven't ran mine yet. They just look cool sitting so far.

Was just wondering cause i went out this weekend on some new douglas mx tires and it was horrible. i think they spun all day. But conditions were bad. Like concrete with marbles everywhere.

Let us know how those perform. If they are as good or almost as good as my old Razr's, I'll definitely get a set at that price.

They're mainly for trail. Did you shave the knobs for traction?

No, didn't shave anything. I do think they hook up better when in soft terrain direction, even on hard terrain. They are a harder compound tire so will wear better. Maxxis Razor 2's are great also, especially for muddy trails. They are kinda heavy though and pricey, but wear well.
