O/CbansheeRider Posted June 8, 2014 Report Posted June 8, 2014 The clutch arm on my sons banshee hits the float bowl pretty bad. It has a pro design intake on it and the arm has already been bent down. I'm concerned about it tearing the rubber boot. Can I flip the rubber boots around to angle carbs up and away from the arm? locogato11283 Posted June 8, 2014 Report Posted June 8, 2014 You need UPP intakes. I believe they sit up higher than the ones you have. Yours is hitting really bad. Quote
O/CbansheeRider Posted June 8, 2014 Author Report Posted June 8, 2014 Ok. I'll check for some. Thx Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
O/CbansheeRider Posted June 8, 2014 Author Report Posted June 8, 2014 Do u think 35s are to big for mild port motor? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
trickedcarbine Posted June 8, 2014 Report Posted June 8, 2014 Run the 35's unless something about em bugs ya. Just about any manifold that has been produced in the last 5 years will clear the clutch arm. Quote
do-work-son Posted June 8, 2014 Report Posted June 8, 2014 Intake spacer will help, or the chariot one piece or upp intake works as well. Quote
special06shee Posted June 8, 2014 Report Posted June 8, 2014 My stock cylinder with upp's and pwk35's hit as well. I just milled the bowl drain down to get the clearance. Fyi, yours are pj's Quote
O/CbansheeRider Posted June 8, 2014 Author Report Posted June 8, 2014 Thx special. I guess I haven't looked close. Bike ran good when I got it so I haven't really touched it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
sheerider11 Posted June 8, 2014 Report Posted June 8, 2014 Yup those are PJ. I did the same as special, just sat it on the belt sander. A little tough to grab, but enough to clear the arm Quote
salmon_slayer06 Posted June 11, 2014 Report Posted June 11, 2014 The carb rubs on mine also. I have stock cylinders. Let me know what intakes will work to clear this and still be able to use stock air box.... Quote
locogato11283 Posted June 11, 2014 Report Posted June 11, 2014 The easiest fix is a taller cylinder. Quote
trickedcarbine Posted June 11, 2014 Report Posted June 11, 2014 ^ this guy..... With a deck height almost 11mm over stock. Quote
