paultrombley98 Posted May 30, 2014 Report Posted May 30, 2014 I was looking at my cylinder and noticed that there was a small hole. could any one tell what could have caused this? Sent from my One X using Tapatalk Quote
paultrombley98 Posted May 30, 2014 Author Report Posted May 30, 2014 Its a hole right through and its on both cylinders but the one on the other is a bit smaller. Sent from my One X using Tapatalk Quote
TwistedMethods Posted May 30, 2014 Report Posted May 30, 2014 I have a tiny little pin hole there also but I don't think mines right thru Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
shanYE west Posted May 30, 2014 Report Posted May 30, 2014 If i had to guess.. someone used a intake bolt that was too long.. I doubt it goes through into the cylinders. Quote
sheerider11 Posted May 30, 2014 Report Posted May 30, 2014 I've seen that on quite a few sets of stockers. Most looks from the cast like that. Quote
BUILDER Posted May 30, 2014 Report Posted May 30, 2014 It is just a casting flaw you see it all the time it does not go through into the intake it is fine. Quote
paultrombley98 Posted May 30, 2014 Author Report Posted May 30, 2014 I will check again when I get home then Sent from my One X using Tapatalk Quote
Tedder Posted May 30, 2014 Report Posted May 30, 2014 Nothing wrong with that. Like Builder said - Just a casting flaw. The ones in that area often go into the bottom of the reed bolt hole. Quote
paultrombley98 Posted May 30, 2014 Author Report Posted May 30, 2014 Yeah you guys were right it doesn't go all the way into the intake. Thanks for helping me with this I actually thought there was something really wrong Sent from my One X using Tapatalk Quote
v2004banshee Posted May 31, 2014 Report Posted May 31, 2014 Mine had much bigger holes that had threads cut in it from the intake screws. Came from factory that way. Quote
