  1. Dont ride or live there so i dont know whats really going on. But around here id love to have a local place that just wanted me to be registered and pay for a little permit. Here nothing is legal or allowed.
  2. If you do all this to shitty chrome does it remove the chrome? Do you still need to seal it if the pipes were chrome?
  3. I already purchased new lowers through you guys. Got them last week. Had to order tops through laeger. You guys were out of stock. I am replacing all 4. Would have never known they were bad there is no slop in any of them but the one that fell apart.
  4. What is the dif between these standards and the ones you sold about 8 years ago. Im still running them. They came with the same laeger ball joints and elkas at the time. In fact one of the ball joints gave out the other day and left me stranded. I believe the arms carried a lifetime warrenty as well.
  5. Dremil. Cut a groove in the bolt and make it a flat head. Screw it out.
  6. Just get the $ 100 spring cascade sells and swap the spring with the stock one. I ran mt +4 and + 6 that way. Seemed fine.
  7. Mine had much bigger holes that had threads cut in it from the intake screws. Came from factory that way.
  8. Need to get new leager ball joints for my arms and was searching around on e bay. Alba has a package deal for all four for the yfz and raptor. They both show they take a 2159 lower and a 2160 upper. The banshee listing is only for two lowers and they show that they take pn 2159 lower. Same as raptor and yfz. So does anyone know if the yfz and raptor top ball joint is the same pitch and thread as a raptor or yfz. I think all yamaha are the same just not sure. Cant seem to find what part number the upper ball joints for a banshee is. No leagers site does not say.
  9. Have you tried measureing it with a piece of solder laying across the piston. Not just 1 side. I just built a new motorwith a new crank piston bearings ect and recieved a .005 difference from just sticking it threw the plug hole no matter how manytimes i did the test. I know cam has had the same experiance. Jmo so dont agree but its worth a shot. The solder threw the plug hole was giving the looser number.
  10. I just finished building a ported 10 cub. Im running fast fibers and a mattoon lockup. This quad should make about 110 hp 59 torque. What would be a good starting point for springs and weights. I have read the lockup tuning thread and im still not sure where to start. I have to drive about an hour to my riding location and dont want to waste a trip on a slipping clutch. I just want it to not slip but i dont want a crap load of spring and weight if i dont need it. I was planning on running 3 heavy fast springs and 3 tusk springs. Leaving the fingers and weights alone with how they came. I weigh about 220. Thanks i figure this is a common motor on here.
