chris_sims1981 Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 I have a piston with the markings 8590H 8963 and bore size 69.95 and I was wondering who made it. I tried searching to no avail, also what would be the next size up? I have to send the cylinders out but I have to buy the pistons and ship them with the cylinders for a top end rebuild. Any help will be much appreciated Quote
Starwriter Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 I have to send the cylinders out but I have to buy the pistons and ship them with the cylinders for a top end rebuild. No you don't. Only use a BHQ sponsor builder and let them supply the pistons. Quote
chris_sims1981 Posted March 12, 2014 Author Report Posted March 12, 2014 I couldn't because the file size is too big. Which builder do you recommend? Quote

gonzodesign Posted April 9, 2014 Report Posted April 9, 2014 thats a Wossner piston, the problem you may have is when someone does a run of pistons for themselves they may get assigned a number that is only for them, what is it out of Quote
chris_sims1981 Posted April 9, 2014 Author Report Posted April 9, 2014 A banshee that has a stock crank with Yamaha rd400 rods, pj 34 carbs, t5 pipes, vforce 3 reeds, 69.9mm bore and a trinity 4 cool head with 22 cc domes. Quote
trickedcarbine Posted April 9, 2014 Report Posted April 9, 2014 The RD rods are 115 I believe. So a 795 Weisco should suffice. 1 Quote
gonzodesign Posted April 9, 2014 Report Posted April 9, 2014 yes they are 115, they are a 2T2 rod (RD400) and have I think a smaller slotted big end, they are the same as a banshee long rod dimension wise its the oiling thats different, running that rod in a hi revving Banshee may not be a good idea, I am gonna research the main difference but believe thats it 1 Quote
