I went to the 2:1 setup and didn't like it so I went back to pj34s and haven't looked back. This engine loves dual carbs and operates better with them imo.
It's not a cover. I noticed it because the clutch case is larger than the one on my other banshee. A friend looked at it and told me what t was when we pulled the cover off.
I bought a banshee that has a hinson quick clutch. I bought a new cable because it seemed like it was stretched. I adjusted the clutch lever and it doesn't move much and has a bit of free play. I can get it to engage with no issues when I pry on it from the shaft. I was wondering if maybe there is an adjustment on the clutch itself or if there shorter cable I would have to buy?
I have a stock cylinder 4 mil with a 65.5 bore. I also have toomy t5s vf reeds. I'm running 21cc domes, a fuel mixture of 24:1 and a single pj34 with a 172 main and I'm not sure on the pilot. I'm at 147ft. What jets will I need properly in mild Virginia weather?
I bought another banshee and the previous owner lost all of the fasteners. I don't want to buy those expensive bolt kits. Does anyone have all of the fasteners for sale?
A banshee that has a stock crank with Yamaha rd400 rods, pj 34 carbs, t5 pipes, vforce 3 reeds, 69.9mm bore and a trinity 4 cool head with 22 cc domes.
How do I measure the stroke? Engine builder said he can tell by the piston pin location to be sure. He will be recieving all my old stuff as well as the new jugs when I recieve them for the rebuild
