No problem, been riding for 25 years myself and safety is always a concern. Would hate to see someone overlook this stuff and get hurt due to it. Cheers

I'm wondering if stainless steel is even that great of a material for this application anyway honestly.

Im not sure as I havnt tested long term effects of stress and fatigue on the particular material. Sure someone around here has though and could chime in.

I don't know much about the arms. I knew right away they needed beefed up on the shock mounts got a buddy to help me with that but if u find out what all they need as strength wise please inform so I can have it added... Sucks but I want to make em strong enough before use.

I never expected a pristine product as for what price was paid. Did however think maybe they'd be usable which clearly they are not. I have multiple rides, buying top notch shit for all of them isnt in my budget or best interest. The bike these were purchased for might get rode four or five times a year generally by women.Just exploring avenues which this one is obviously a dead end.

Stainless could be used if the proper type is used. It would heavy though if think of done right. My lsr arms are quite a bit heavier than stock.
