I had 160,60 on mine I'm in SoCal so ride mainly glamis and In dumont drop 1 on the main I had the same set up ... Vf3 drag ported timing at 6 degrees blah blah blah but I ran t5 for season and then swapped to inframe shearer

When on gas my stock cyl drag ported bike chopped perfect at 180 main in 40 deg weather I ran a 182 with no noticable diffrence with a decent port job I would guess mid 170s im at sea level

Av gas is different than many of the regular race fuels. I would start at 180 -185 and you will probably need to work down. Usually the ones I have jetted with 39s have been in the 168-175 range. I like the CEL or CGL needles and on avgas I would try CGL. Jeff at FAST has em in stock usually.

In a 1/4 mile my bike sucked the bowls dry just fyi if your experiencing any problems keep that in the back of your head

 

Yeah im going to be trying a bunch of different things, sunday theres a bunch of asphault racing going down so im trying to get her built by then.

I have them, but allways have couldnt tell u if there would be a diffrence, asphault is all about the clutch tune, I leave at consistant rpm and adjust base pressure for best 60ft, my suggestion is dial in jetting 100% before u tune any other aspect of bike, tuning clutch and chassis all changes on engine tune, take your time write shit down if done rite it will get easier to get down the track
