Maxfield84 Posted November 26, 2013 Author Report Posted November 26, 2013 I plan on keeping these pipe on for the time being. Like I said, the bike runs strong, it really pulls. If it ever becomes an issue riding the local trails, I might think about selling them. The only problem is, they are so damn loud. When I first got it home, I took it down the street one time and I felt like the whole neighborhood came outside to see what the hell was going on...lol Quote
RagunCajun Posted November 26, 2013 Report Posted November 26, 2013 Shearer makes in frame pipes and out of frame(OOF) pipes with silencers. It's a lot more quieter. Plus with in frames, they are less likely to get damaged when trail riding or rolling over. Quote
troyzstang Posted November 26, 2013 Report Posted November 26, 2013 Yeah Shearer OOF's are way to loud. You probably need to just sell them....... To me Troy Quote
Maxfield84 Posted December 23, 2013 Author Report Posted December 23, 2013 UPDATE I installed the LSR A-arms and put the pipes back on. All new break lines, bearings, and seals. Stripped any parts that had bullshit paint on them, and either powder coated them or used industrial farm equipment paint. Every single bolt has been replaced with polished ones. Quote
Maxfield84 Posted December 23, 2013 Author Report Posted December 23, 2013 Is there a trick to posting good pictures? Every photo I upload needs to be resized, as well as, bootying up the quality to get it under the 50k limit. Quote
m671054 Posted December 23, 2013 Report Posted December 23, 2013 Word of advise. those pipes are not durable for trail type riding. the will break mounts and maybe the stingers from all the bouncing. recomend you sell them now before they are woth less and get silenced inframes. plus most places check for sound limits and those are not even close to being legal Quote
