Will be breaking my top end in pretty soon and have read synthetic oils are too slippery for break in. I always run klotz high performance synthetic premix in my shee. So what should i use for my break in? Thanks

Just run what ever you plan to use normally.

There are so many oils and mixes out there it's rediculous! Conventional or synthetic, castor or benol, 32:1 or 50:1? They all come with pros and cons. It's up to the consumer to sort out what they are happy with through experience. Every Yutz at some Moto shop somewhere has their own opinion and they will almost all be different at some point. In my opinion, all that matters is that you use a QUALITY product and if it treats you well keep using it.

Run the same klotz oil you'll be running after break in. No reason to change

^What he said. No reason to use "special break in oil". Just mix it as you normally would. 32:1, 40:1 whatever. Two easy heat cycles, checking torque values on your head and cyl's. Drop the hammer on that bitch and let it rip. It's a two stroke.

thats the best way to break it in.

make sure jetting is pretty good, fluid levels are all good, run it full throttle every gear..  break it in hard.

32-1 mix ratio...   if you want to run beanoil first tank then switch to synth thats fine too.  if the place that MAKES the oil recommended it  might not be a bad idear

My thoughts exactly.

Your rings start seating immediately. Cylinder pressure seals the rings. Cylinder pressure doesnt happen on hopes, dreams and pussyfooting around.
