xXADRENALINE_JUNKIEXx Posted November 9, 2013 Report Posted November 9, 2013 Hey guys im looking at buying new nerf bars I really like the ac mx pro peg with netted heal guards but I called acr and they haven't discontinued them but there not making them at the moment so my next choice is UMR pro pegs, has anyone used these? Are they a respectable brand? Any advice would be greatly appreciated also any different nerf bars out there that you guy would recommend? The only thing I ask for is they have a heal guard and not the kind that bolt on to the stock heal guard. Thanks for the help P.S. I was also thing about the alba pro pegs too. Quote
2strokeshees Posted November 9, 2013 Report Posted November 9, 2013 I don't run any on my banshees but on both my 450 and my girls 450 I put the Albas. They were cheap and are actually a really good product. I like them. Quote
sheerider11 Posted November 9, 2013 Report Posted November 9, 2013 Does pro armor make any for the banshee? Quote
RagunCajun Posted November 9, 2013 Report Posted November 9, 2013 they did make nerf bars, i have some.not sure if they still do Quote
ph2smoke Posted November 11, 2013 Report Posted November 11, 2013 Alba Racing will have the nerf bars above available in black and silver in about 2 months. They have built in wide foot pegs and heel plates. Quote
bluebanshee98 Posted November 11, 2013 Report Posted November 11, 2013 Available for a banshee correct? I believe the ones in the pic I posted was for a Yfz or raptor. Not sure though just saw the pic. I'm sure some modification was needed. Anyway if they are going to be available for the banshee I hope they have the pegs in the right spot so you don't to run a shorter shifter and they have room for you to kick start the bike with the middle of your foot instead of just your heel like some nerfs Quote
Alba Racing Posted November 11, 2013 Report Posted November 11, 2013 Yup made specifically for the banshee with no modification needed. The heel plates are extra deep to clear the kick starter. You can start it like normal. The pegs are in the correct spot. We will offer a forum special when we get them in. Quote
bluebanshee98 Posted November 12, 2013 Report Posted November 12, 2013 I wanna see pics when they are available. On the bike if possible. ill def buy a set if they are going to be as good as I think they might be Quote
Alba Racing Posted November 12, 2013 Report Posted November 12, 2013 They do have adjustable / changeable pegs. I will post some pics as soon as I can. Quote
trickedcarbine Posted November 13, 2013 Report Posted November 13, 2013 How about fitment on a -2 swinger with at least 20" tires? Quote
trickedcarbine Posted November 22, 2013 Report Posted November 22, 2013 So, all this ALBA ACTION..... And suddenly no more posts? Quote
bluebanshee98 Posted November 22, 2013 Report Posted November 22, 2013 (edited) Only been 10 days since there last post. Maybe they had they had to get a banshee first to make sure everything is going to work out haha. Obviously this is something that should of been made awhile ago IMO. Some updates would be good though alba Edited November 22, 2013 by bluebanshee98 Quote
