Loud only means one thing, NOISE.  Get that through your thick assed skull.  Loud doesn't mean fast.  Part of owning a quad is being responsible, and not getting more people complaining, because you are making too much noise , or tearing up other people's shit.  Now, if you want to be "dumber than dirt", and run no silencers, then go right ahead, but don't come on here bitching, when someone takes offense to it, and decides to call the law on you, or bash your stupid face in, or tear up your unbearably loud POS quad.

There is a time and place to run no silencers. If you're only riding trails then leaving them on will be the best bet.

 

If you're sand dragging, then removing them could net more horsepower and be allowed at the track.

 

I don't feel like removing them just because you want a louder bike is a good idea. It could cause issues in your riding area.
