2strokeshees Posted August 23, 2013 Report Posted August 23, 2013 King shocks on a quad, this is a first. Quote
joshb Posted August 26, 2013 Report Posted August 26, 2013 Street bike quads can be fast as hell if done right. Young guy in NE did his own chassis and such with a turbo busa in it. Be very tough to beat on the track. It just seems there are 250 hack jobs to one good one. Quote
bluebanshee98 Posted August 26, 2013 Report Posted August 26, 2013 FFS build up a nice banshee motor. Do you really want to have a rev limiter on it anyway? Quote

sangheraent Posted February 10, 2017 Report Posted February 10, 2017 You have a mercury mountaineer didn't they sell like 10 of those? Also this thread was like 3 years old. Quote
sleeper06 Posted February 16, 2017 Report Posted February 16, 2017 Can it be done yes, is it gonna be the fastest shit ever probably not. You would be way ahead money wise to build a nice shee motor. I've put an r1 engine in a shee chassis many years ago. In order to get the proper alignment we had to use an outboard style jja with a pizza pie rear sprocket to get it to perform in 300' . Robinson cut the override . First season of testing the bike ran a fastest pass of 3.7-3.8 consistently which wasn't fast enough for the class he fit in. Needless to say that thing is a dust collector and same kid is going faster with a shee based motor Quote
