  1. Hey do you think I’m down shifting to fast at too high of a speed and maybe that caused it . Because I can still run it and shift up fine but when I go to stop I usually pull the clutch and down shift all the way to neutral quickly and that’s when I hear the noise also oil has no sparkles or metal Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  4. I’m not hard up for oil it’s just a bummer to drain new oil but it’s all good I’ll see what’s up in the following days and post my findings hope for simple but if it’s bad atleast I get an excuse to stay in the garage lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks... unfortunately I just changed the oil luckily I have the clear case so I can see right in I was also thinking something happened with my lockout kit last time I rode it and this first happened it looked like my lockout kit was loose or something and I didn’t install it so I don’t know how it’s suppose to look on it. My engine is mostly new I sent it to Herr juggs over a year ago rode it a few times and it’s sat since then.. when I got it back going I noticed when I down shift while holding the clutch at a higher rate of speed I hear metal grinding or something until I’m at low first gear speeds. It runs excellent for now and shift through all gears. I think it could be the shift shaft or the shift star but I’m not sure . The engine has new 4mil long rod crank Athena cylinders wiesco pistons noss performance head dune 1-5 neutral on bottom new heavy duty clutch and lock out kit . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Definatley worth shipping I originally sent this engine to Kevin Herr at Herr jugs racing in California and put 2200 in this engine then got the new carbs a year later when my old carbs where having issues and that's where I went wrong .. it's been two years since I pulled my engine so honestly it's gonna be fun todo again get to clean that beast for real Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I recently bought a friends banshee that has a gsxr 750 in it that use to be a gsxr 600 he blew it up by using only a banshee radiator but now has perfected the bike I like it a lot anyways I think people on here talking shit are just jealous because they can't accomplish anything like this bike.   12. Well I was under the impression 28s were stock size and I only plan on going up with this engine so why not got all out . I like crazy shit may have been in necessary for now but oh well I don't plan on these athenas lasting long anyways so I'll be going to cheetah cylinders or something badass.   13. Hey also the left side exhaust loves to leak extra oil out the boot even when I tighten it a lot when I get done riding the engine has oily specs all over the topend ..wouldn't that mean a possible piston ring blown Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah I had made the mistake of getting them before finding out this was already a long rod banshee and got tired of headaches with it so I sent it in to HJR for full build and he helped make them work and it's been a great bike till lately and I've only had her out a few times nothing hardcore either Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah he said basically said I can get a refund or wait a few weeks and I was ready to go ride to I said fuck it I'll go with the bigger upgrade and I've noticed the left side exhaust keeps leaking oil spray everywhere no matter How tight the exhaust clamps are that seal the pipes together Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I originally wanted 33 but hjr ran out after I ordered so it was 28 or 39 or wait a month. I got impatient said 39is fine also my engine has dune 0-5 trans 4mil crank Athena 392 kit and noss head and runs on renegade110 I mixed 32:1 klotz oil Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So I had some issues when I went out riding recently. my bike kept dying but would run fine with the fuel on reserve, but eventually the bike started to idle way to high every time we stopped so I decided to clean up the petcock and filter that's attached. also decided to call HjR and upgrade my carbs because he did my hole engine a year before that and I had 28mm carbs so now I have new pwk 39mm carbs jetted with pods and intake spacers. I can get it started and running but within a minute of idling it starts to bog, I can feather the throttle and keep it running and get it to rev up high but then after it starts to idle it gets a slight bog again and if I don't stay on the throttle it will die. So I build this awsome quad and its got nerf bars but my size 13 boot is too big to get under the shifter, so I find out about direct drive cnc having a set of 1.5inch lower and 2inch to the rear foot pegs for $95 I bought them.
