2 STROKE TWIN Posted December 2, 2013 Report Share Posted December 2, 2013 I just got a set of FMF FATTYS w/powercore silencers for $75 from a buddy, he is telling me if i was to cut the silencers shorter by 4inches it would gain me around 20-25% better accerlation and would give my banshee a harder hit on the powerband is this true? It would give less back pressure so it should flow faster witch would make the engine rev faster RIGHT? The fmf powercore silencers are a little to quite for my likeing, if i was to cutt off 4 inches of the silencers and run them would there be any issues with it?
