Jdeiter Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 im getting out of the mx scene and have a set of front shocks to pass on. they are PEP triple rates with remote rezzi. i purchased them to replace my old elkas in early spring and had much more success. they are setup for a 180-200lb expert mx rider with +2 arms. i use the alba arms which are extendable beyond 2 inches and havnt had any luck bottoming these shocks out. i was very pleased with them and you will be too. i will have a pic up tomorrow afternoon. as of now im taking reasonble offers on the shocks. pm me or email at [email protected] thanks, jason Quote

broke Posted November 5, 2003 Report Posted November 5, 2003 What level shock are they? They look like the "race" but might be "limited mass", just curious. Thanks broke Quote
H300F Posted November 5, 2003 Report Posted November 5, 2003 $375 and I will pick them up Friday. Quote
H300F Posted November 5, 2003 Report Posted November 5, 2003 Do you have a rear shock that is revalved? Sell outright or trade for shock and cash? What about aarms? Quote
Jdeiter Posted November 5, 2003 Author Report Posted November 5, 2003 i think i have somebody interested in the shocks for 425. i do have a revalved and eibach sprung rear shock, but wouldnt get out of it what i put in. cost me $330 for the spring, bumper, valve, and labor. have reciept. if you'd do a trade and 200 cash, it's yours. other than that i will keep it. let me know, jason Quote
H300F Posted November 5, 2003 Report Posted November 5, 2003 Check your PMs. Sent you about all 3 shocks, please get back to me. Quote
Blue Duece Posted November 10, 2003 Report Posted November 10, 2003 shocks have been sold glad to see you sold those......just out of curiosity, what elkas did you have that you liked those better? Quote
Jdeiter Posted November 18, 2003 Author Report Posted November 18, 2003 i used to have elka zero preloads, but they were way too soft. the standard travel eklas would only be good for the woods, you'll need long travel setup for any mx. especially because the banshee is so heavy. if you are going to do elkas, spend a few bucks more on custom axis....they are much better and have great rider support! the PEPs are a great low-price alternative to the above Quote
tats4life Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 I agree with Jdeiter. I've been running custom axis for the past 2 years. Next season I'm thinking about running the quad rate elka's with my DC-4 lsr arms. Haven't decided with a link or no link setup. Plenty of time, frame will be here friday Quote
