7211 Posted May 16, 2013 Report Posted May 16, 2013 if your considering buying a no name swing arm from ebay you might as well flush your 250$ down the toilet 2 rides and piece of shit cracked on both sides of the shock mounts i dont jump just climb coal hills and two rides was all it took Quote
BigRed350x Posted May 16, 2013 Report Posted May 16, 2013 I've seen those ebay swingarms crack after 1 ride. Quote
ATV Galaxy Posted May 16, 2013 Report Posted May 16, 2013 Yup x2 you get what you pay for. Think about it, material, labor, plus powder coat will eat up most of that $250 dollars unless they use cheap material.. obviously they used cheap material because it tore apart like a tin can. Check out our site for deals on lonestar or Houser swingers. Quote
WINDYCITYJOHN400 Posted May 16, 2013 Report Posted May 16, 2013 .......and you heard me post more than a few warnings that my +6 and a friends +6 both broke in that exact same spot. I also explained why. Ours lasted longer, but we don't Peter Pan our stuff off big jumps. Ours saw mostly dune action. So....now go get yourself a Full Chromoly arm. Get the round carrier. Get one with gussets at the connection point on the carrier. Stellar or JL come to mind. Glad you weren't hurt. Quote
locogato11283 Posted May 16, 2013 Report Posted May 16, 2013 Fireball, Stellar, Turbo Chassis and Wheelman all specialize in chassis parts. Then you've got ATV Galaxy and BVC Racing who sell just about everything. Any BansheeHQ sponsor can get you a swingarm basically. Quote
Dick Dragon Posted May 16, 2013 Report Posted May 16, 2013 You guys are way to tough on the chinesium swing arms.......... I've seen them last years, granted they were sitting on the shelf! 1 Quote

dozer Posted May 17, 2013 Report Posted May 17, 2013 Mine broke at the welds, you can re weld but it'll crack somewhere else. The tubing is really thin and eventually mine started to twist. Quote
wacko2000 Posted May 17, 2013 Report Posted May 17, 2013 I was young broke and foolish once, bought a eBay swinger, snapped it in half while on a riding trip in West Virginia Never again, spend ya money right the first time, get with a site sponsor for quality stuff!! Joe Quote
