replaced clutch and no slack on cable

Recommended Posts

arrows on internals point at each other.  Point on actuator arm points to arrow machined on the cases.  To adjust that you have to loosen the nut on the center of the pressure plate....then turn the stud.....want them pointing at each other.  Then hook up your cable and adjust the clutch handle via the clutch handle adjustment on the bars so that there is ABOUT a dimes width of slack in the clutch handle before the actuator arm gets pressure on it.  Test ride.
