Recommended Posts

I have pretty much the same set up. I run half 93 ethanol free nd half 110 nd i live in arkansas. Im prolly pushin a lil more compression than u tho. 174psi...hope it helps. Do a compression test nd go from there...ne thing above 160 psi run at least half nd half...ne thing under id run ethanol free 91 and lucas octane booster

alot more than just compression determines whether or not you can run pump gas. 7.5:1 compression ratio and 175psi could safely run 93 octane

One of the best replays to a "what octane do I run" question. Timing also plays a role in what octane fuel needed. Its not based off of "cranking psi".......don't know why everyone keeps thinking that.
